Problem description:
Bunkers, shelters, and basements can leak good mobile coverage or do not have and then those can become a trap. In a lockdown situation, coordination with local authorities and nearby people and shelters is essential to receive instructions, thread status updates and share your situation among others.

Presented solution:
VectorGsmLand is a versatile communication device that enables connectivity to the outside world through two types of phone lines: GSM and landline. It features a SIM card slot for cellular network access and a connector for an external antenna, which should be strategically placed to ensure reliable communications, particularly in shelters and bunkers where mobile coverage is typically lacking. Landlines, valued for their reliability and robustness, generally remain operational during power outages and are easier to repair compared to fiber optics. Having multiple communication systems increases your likelihood of maintaining contact under various conditions. Users can choose to make calls using the GSM, landline, or any of the eight private lines upon picking up the phone.

VectorGsmLand supports up to eight private phone lines, which can utilize either the GSM or landline network for outbound calls. Typically, one line is specifically dedicated to the shelter, while the others can be extended to various locations such as the living room, a neighboring house, or a surrounding shelter. These private lines are crucial as they provide an independent phone service that acts as a backup communication network in the event of a public telecommunications outage. Even when cellular and landline services are down, VectorGsmLand operates using its private lines, ensuring seamless communication among all connected users. Note that cables must be run from the VectorGsmLand to any location where communication is expected on these private lines.

To ensure uninterrupted service, VectorGsmLand can be powered by a UPS system, solar energy, or batteries via an inverter. This setup guarantees continuous operation and connectivity through GSM, landlines, and private lines, even during power outages.

Easy to use:
No touch screens, no button menus, no configurations, no setups. Just pick up the phone, dial the number of the person you want to call, and talk. That’s all. Let’s keep it simple.

Reliability:
To achieve high reliability, this modern system intentionally uses classic electronic components, such as voltage transformers and relays, which have proven their reliability over decades. It avoids using the latest generation of semiconductors.

Hacking:
Any device connected to the Internet is hackable, it’s a fact. This device does not have internet.
